Gender-Responsive Life Skills-Based Education: Advocacy Brief (UNESCO Bangkok, 2008)

Advocacy brief highlighting the urgent need for and benefits of incorporating gender-responsiveness in advocacy and policy efforts in life skills-based education. The brief underlines that, in order to be fully effective, efforts need to incorporate gender sensitivity and responsiveness from programme planning to implementation, monitoring, evaluation and other policy efforts. Formally structuring gender responsiveness in curriculum planning, teacher training and outcome evaluations is critical to the delivery of quality LSBE.
